To follow contract opportunities on SAM.gov, you must be signed in. Once signed in, start the search by following the steps below:

1. On the home page, select “Contract Opportunities” in the drop-down menu next to the search bar. Enter an ID number or keyword, or leave the search bar blank and select the search button.
2. Filter your search results as desired.
3. Select the name of the desired contract opportunity within the search results.
4. Select “Follow” in the top right corner of the Contract Opportunities details page.

Your followed opportunities (“Following”) will appear in your Workspace area under the “Profile” section. The “Following” section has filters and sorting options to find contract opportunities among your followed items.

To receive email notifications about updates to the opportunity, select the desired frequency in the “Email Frequency” column next to the opportunity.

When you follow an opportunity, SAM.gov will notify you of any changes when you log in.
