GSA IFF – Industrial Funding Fee

What is the GSA IFF?

The Industrial Funding Fee (IFF) is a fee paid by contractors to GSA to cover the cost of operating the Schedule program. The fee is . 75% of sales (75 cents for every $100) generated as a result of being on the Schedule, and is paid by each contractor to GSA on a quarterly basis.

How is GSA IFF calculated?
A simple rule to calculate your IFF-included GSA Schedule pricing is to take your discounted price and divide it by 0.9925 (which is 1 minus 0.0075).
How will we handle the IFF if we are teamed with another company on a GSA bid?
You would be wise to talk to the KO about how this should be handled.
  • If you are the Prime and list the partners services (or products) as Open Market, then you pay the IFF on your items, and do NOT pay the IFF on the open market items.
  • If you are the Prime, and you add those LCATs then you will pay the IFF (it is built in).
  • If you both perform separately, then you only pay IFF for your portion of work.
