Short answer: Not under that name. In 2019–2020, GSA merged IT Schedule 70 and its other 23 schedules into one Multiple Award Schedule (MAS). Schedule 70 is now the MAS Information Technology category. It has SINs for IT services, hardware, software, cloud and cybersecurity, and you get on it through the standard MAS offer process.
What happened to GSA Schedule 70?
On October 1, 2019, GSA released a single consolidated solicitation that merged its 24 separate schedules into one Multiple Award Schedule. Companies that already held a Schedule 70 contract moved to the new terms through a mass modification in 2020, and GSA kept their contract numbers.
The IT products and services that used to be on Schedule 70 now sit in the MAS Information Technology category. It is one of the 12 large categories of the MAS. People still say “Schedule 70” out of habit, and many agencies still search for it, but there is no separate Schedule 70 contract to apply for.
What is in the MAS IT category?
The category is split into Special Item Numbers (SINs). These are the most common ones:
| SIN | What it covers |
|---|---|
| 54151S | IT professional services: systems design and integration, programming, network services, data management and testing |
| 33411 | Purchasing of new electronic equipment (IT hardware) |
| 511210 | Software licenses |
| 518210C | Cloud computing and cloud-related IT services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). Formerly SIN 132-40 |
| 54151HACS | Highly Adaptive Cybersecurity Services. Formerly SIN 132-45. Requires an oral technical evaluation before award |
See every SIN in the category on GSA eLibrary. Learn more about how SINs work.
How do I get on the GSA IT category, step by step?
- Register in SAM.gov. You need an active registration and a Unique Entity ID (UEI). See how to register in SAM.gov.
- Complete GSA’s Pathways to Success training and the readiness assessment. Both are mandatory before you submit an offer.
- Choose your IT SINs. Pick only the SINs that match what you already sell commercially and can prove with past performance.
- Get a FAS ID to log in to eOffer, GSA’s offer system.
- Build your offer. You’ll need two years of financials, past performance, commercial pricing in GSA’s templates and, for hardware, proof that every product is TAA compliant. For 54151HACS, prepare for the oral technical evaluation.
- Submit, negotiate and get awarded. GSA assigns a contracting specialist, sends clarification requests, negotiates your pricing and awards the contract after your Final Proposal Revision.

How long does it take, and what does it cost?
GSA charges nothing to submit an offer. With GSA Focus, most clients are awarded in about 6 months and spend about 3 hours of their own time; companies that do it alone often take two years or more. After award, GSA collects a 0.75% Industrial Funding Fee on your schedule sales. See GSA Focus pricing.
Can state and local governments buy IT from the GSA Schedule?
Yes, for many IT SINs. Through GSA’s Cooperative Purchasing program, state, local and tribal governments can buy from eligible IT SINs, including 54151S, 33411, 511210, 518210C and 54151HACS. That gives IT contractors a second market on the same contract.
Frequently asked questions
Does GSA Schedule 70 still exist?
No. GSA merged Schedule 70 into the consolidated Multiple Award Schedule in 2019–2020. IT products and services are now sold under the MAS Information Technology category. Existing Schedule 70 holders kept their contract numbers.
What SIN is used for IT services on the GSA Schedule?
Most IT services fall under SIN 54151S, IT Professional Services. Cloud services use 518210C and cybersecurity services use 54151HACS.
How do I find a company’s GSA Schedule 70 contract?
Search the company’s name in GSA eLibrary. Former Schedule 70 contracts now show up as MAS contracts with IT category SINs, along with their contract number, end date and price list. See how to look up a GSA contract.
Can a small business get on the GSA IT category?
Yes. Agencies can set aside IT orders for small, veteran-owned, women-owned and HUBZone businesses. You need the same things as any offeror: two years of experience, financials, past performance and documented commercial pricing.
Do IT products on the GSA Schedule need to be TAA compliant?
Yes. Every product you sell on the GSA Schedule must be made or substantially transformed in the U.S. or in a TAA designated country. This is a common problem for IT hardware.
How long does it take to get on the GSA IT category?
It’s the same process as any MAS offer. With GSA Focus, most clients are awarded in about 6 months. Doing it alone often takes two years or more.
