The White House Startup America Roundtable recently made a stop in Boulder, Colorado. Over 150 members of the Boulder area business community met with White House officials yesterday to discuss entrepreneurialism and related federal regulations as part of the Obama administration’s Startup America initiative.
One of the goals of the Startup America initiative is “Reducing Barriers to Innovation.” According to the Startup America website, “The Startup America: Reducing Barriers event is a regional platform that allows federal agencies to hear directly, from entrepreneurs and local leaders like you, how we can achieve our goal of reducing the barriers faced by America’s entrepreneurs. Senior Obama administration officials need input on what changes are needed to build a more supportive environment for entrepreneurship. “
