Open Letter from President of GSA Focus
Table of Contents
ToggleHello, For around 15 years now GSA Focus has served all VA Federal Supply Schedule as well as all GSA Schedules. And although we are going as strong as ever in serving Small Businesses within the GSA Schedule community, we are no longer servicing the VA Federal Supply Schedule program.
It is just time for GSA Focus to move in a new strategic direction, and unfortunately this means closing off some of our current accounts, an no longer accepting new clients who sell Medical Devices, or any other VA Schedules:
621 I | PROFESSIONAL AND ALLIED HEALTHCARE STAFFING SERVICES |
621 II | MEDICAL LABORATORY TESTING AND ANALYSIS SERVICES |
65 I B | PHARMACEUTICALS AND DRUGS – Includes Antiseptic Liquid Skin Cleansing Detergents and Soaps, Dispensers and Accessories. |
65 II A | MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES |
65 II C | DENTAL EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES |
65 II F | PATIENT MOBILITY DEVICES – Includes Wheelchairs, scooters, walkers. |
65 V A | X-RAY EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES – Includes medical and dental x-ray film. |
65 VII | INVITRO DIAGNOSTICS, REAGENTS, TEST KITS AND TEST SETS |
66 III | CLINICAL ANALYZERS, LABORATORY, COST-PER-TEST |
REASONING
The GSA has made many changes lately, and in an effort to keep our services at a high level to our GSA Customers, we must eliminate our efforts elsewhere. Unfortunately, FSS Maintenance is one of those areas that makes the most sense to eliminate. Also, The entire VA FSS department has become very slow to work with. Many Offers take 1.5+ years just to get through the initial review.
TRANSITION
I do not want to leave you hanging without any help or suggestions if you still want to get into the VA FSS Program. You can, of course, locate another Consultant, but be careful because some are quite predatory or incompetent.
Your other option is to DIY, and this is where you will want to start:
Best wishes,
Do you qualify for GSA?
