Trace Systems Inc., a prominent provider of IT solutions, has been awarded a prime position on the General Services Administration‘s (GSA) Alliant 3 Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). The announcement was made on April 13, 2026, marking a significant achievement for the company as one of only 43 awardees in the contract’s initial phase.

Alliant 3 is the successor to GSA’s Alliant 2 contract and represents a monumental step in modernizing federal IT infrastructure. This 10-year contract, described as the largest IT modernization contract in history, has no ceiling for its overall value. With its "Anything IT Anywhere" philosophy, Alliant 3 encompasses a wide range of services, including Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Quantum Computing, Virtualization, and Zero-Trust Networking. It also supports traditional IT management and operations, cybersecurity, and communications services.
The contract is designed to streamline federal procurement processes by accelerating acquisition timelines, reducing redundancies, and cutting administrative costs. Its structure aligns with current government initiatives to centralize and simplify procurement. Alliant 3 also supports performance-based acquisitions, classified requirements, and small business subcontracting, making it a versatile and reliable contracting vehicle for federal agencies.
