# Service – Disabled Veteran – Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Sole Source

A contract award to an SDVOSB on a sole source basis may be considered when the contracting officer does not expect there would be competition from any other SDVOSB, when the contract is within certain dollar limits, and when the work isn't already contracted to an 8(a) business.
