# Will my SBA Designation help get a GSA Contract?

SBA Designations are great and they help you get federal business because every Government Agency has set-aside goals that they try to reach. However, when it comes to the process of getting your [GSA Contract](https://www.gsascheduleservices.com/info/what-is-a-gsa-contract/), the SBA Certifications do not really play a role. They are listed in your SAM Record, and GSA will pull the information over to your eLibrary (landing page), so Agency Buyers know your set-asides.

Here is a list of the set-asides I am referring to:

- Disadvantaged Small Business
- 8(a) Certified
- Woman Owned
- Minority Owned
- Veteran Owned
- Service Disabled Veteran Owned
